I’d been dealing with migraines every 2 to 3 weeks for almost a year when my dad discovered shiatsu. The first time I went, I was pretty nervous because I had no idea what he was going to do or whether it would hurt.

In the end, it didn’t really hurt — just a little in some spots — but that gets better after a few sessions because he works those sore areas away. He does that by pressing on specific points in your body.

At first, I went almost every week, and it really helped — I hardly had any migraines during that time. Now I go every three weeks, and that works well too. I’ve only had one mild migraine recently, and after seeing Louis, it disappeared right away.

I’ll probably keep doing shiatsu for a while until I figure out why I get migraines in the first place. For now, I feel good again and have way fewer migraines — thanks to Louis.
