Article 2 \u2013 Memberships and professional organization<\/strong><\/p>

Shiatsu Rotterdam is affiliated with the Dutch Association of Soma Therapists (NVST)<\/strong> and the Register of Complementary Healthcare Practitioners (RBCZ)<\/strong>.
The therapist possesses the required medical basic knowledge in accordance with the PLATO standards<\/strong>.<\/p>

Treatments at Shiatsu Rotterdam may be fully or partially reimbursed depending on the health insurer and the supplementary package. For an overview of reimbursing insurers, see nvst.nl\/zorgverzekeraars.

Article 3 \u2013 Treatment and methodology<\/strong><\/p>

  1. Complementary care<\/strong>: Shiatsu is a complementary therapy and not a substitute for conventional medical care.<\/li>
  2. Intake and treatment agreement<\/strong>: Before treatment begins, an intake interview takes place. The client agrees to the treatment via an oral or written treatment agreement.<\/li>
  3. Information provision<\/strong>: The client is responsible for providing accurate and complete medical information.<\/li>
  4. Client file<\/strong>: A file is maintained in accordance with the WGBO<\/strong>. The client has the right to access and correct it.<\/li>
  5. Termination of treatment<\/strong>: The treatment may be terminated at any time by either the client or the therapist.<\/li><\/ol>

    Article 4 \u2013 Rates and payment<\/strong><\/p>

    1. Rates are listed on shiatsurotterdam.nl<\/a> and may be adjusted annually.<\/li>
    2. Payment is made immediately after the session by debit card. Cash payment is possible.<\/li>
    3. Shiatsu Rotterdam provides an invoice suitable for reimbursement by the health insurer.<\/li><\/ol>

      Article 5 \u2013 Appointments and cancellations<\/strong><\/p>

      1. Appointments can be made by phone, by email, or via the website.<\/li>
      2. Cancellations can be made up to 48 hours in advance<\/strong>. In case of late cancellation or no-show, the full consultation fee will be charged.<\/li>
      3. Repeated cancellations or rescheduling may lead to termination of the treatment agreement.<\/li><\/ol>

        Article 6 \u2013 Liability<\/strong><\/p>

        1. Shiatsu Rotterdam is not liable for damages resulting from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the client.<\/li>
        2. The practice is not responsible for loss of or damage to the client\u2019s property.<\/li>
        3. Shiatsu Rotterdam holds valid professional and business liability insurance.<\/li><\/ol>

          Article 7 \u2013 Privacy and data protection<\/strong><\/p>

          1. Shiatsu Rotterdam processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)<\/strong>.<\/li>
          2. The data is used solely for treatment and administrative purposes and will not be shared with third parties without written consent.<\/li>
          3. The client has the right to access, correct, or delete their data. See the privacy statement on the website.<\/li><\/ol>

            Article 8 \u2013 Complaints procedure<\/strong><\/p>

            1. Shiatsu Rotterdam strives to provide good care. In case of dissatisfaction, you are requested to discuss this directly first.<\/li>
            2. If the complaint is not resolved satisfactorily, the client can contact an independent complaints officer via the NVST<\/strong>.<\/li>
            3. For disputes, Shiatsu Rotterdam is affiliated with the recognized disputes committee via the Stichting Zorggeschil<\/strong>, in accordance with the Wkkgz<\/strong> (Healthcare Quality, Complaints and Disputes Act).<\/li><\/ol>

              Article 9 \u2013 Applicable law<\/strong><\/p>

              This agreement is governed by Dutch law.
